Nice work guys. OP, well done.

@protacodan @NahBehGoPa did the kit give you 1.5" of lift, or more? From the pictures I see it looks like the lift results in more than 1.5". And it looks like you kept a slight rake, right?

@protacodan tangent topic; what sliders are those? Very minimalist. I like it.

For those like me who struggled figuring out the pros and cons of a spacer lift vs. pre-compressing your spring to get lift, I found this site that had a succinct summary which really helped me. https://www.shocksurplus.com/pages/lifted-and-leveling-struts-vs-strut-spacers

The Revtek lift gave me 1 1/2” lift picked up 1” with tires(285:75/16) I think she sits pretty level. The sliders are NFAB bolt on they mount using the 12 bolts under the rocker panel so they may not be “real” sliders. Happy trails

I don’t understand why people buy a pro and then put the cheapest suspension bits on. Just sell the foxes and do it right if you want to lift.

Agreed and to use a preload spacer... Either way not my truck, I don't mind spacer lifts, but only top plate spacers.

I would use the headstrong spacer for 1" lift up front... but again not my truck, and I do have to say, outside of arguing the details, the trucks in this thread look excellent and how they should have looked from the factory IMO

The top spacer keeps the spring and shock in the factory position (and factory ride) but raises the frame of the truck... If you raise it enough you COULD bottom out on the shock.
Yes you(I) need longer bump stops.

@Jes Glad to hear about the Supreme spacers... I live in SD and they are only about an 90 min drive so picked up the same top hat spacers but also picked up their AAL. Once I have some extra scratch I plan to have Jason Speed Freek install. Will most definitely post once that's completed.

Do the ECGS bushing at the same time... you will need it.

Do me a favor and measure the gap on your bump stops before you lift it...

Thanks! I also picked up the diff drop kit from supreme, truthfully not sure if this has anything to do with or is even related with the ECGS bushing or not.

Happen to have a link to the ECGS bushing? Hopefully it's cheap insurance to install while the truck is apart and the lift is being installed.

@NahBehGoPa, did you use spacers to lower your skid plate?

Hope everyone had a good long weekend. I took advantage of discount tires' memorial day promo and put some 33" BFG T/A KO2 (https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/bfgoodrich-all-terrain-t-a-ko2-dt/p/37549) and figured now was a good time to show the before an after pics (sorry in advance for the second pic with the sun blowout) with the Supreme 2" spacer (https://supremesuspensions.com/coll...nsion-lift-kit-2wd-4wd?variant=21410364129360) and AAL (https://supremesuspensions.com/coll...eling-lift-kit-2wd-4wd?variant=21391318155344).

For what it's worth I PM'd a lot of people who went with the Revtek route and got about an 80/20 ratio who said they were 100% happy with it compared to the few who said the ride was noticeably harder. After speaking with @Speed Freek I decided to go with top-hat spacers instead of the Revtek's preloaded spacers. I obviously can't speak on the Revetek set up, and most people who went that way seem happy with it, but I haven't noticed a difference in ride.

With the tires, I definitely have noticed a drop off of ~2 MPG, I don't know the delta for sure as I haven't re-calibrated the truck's CPU for the larger tire diameter nor have I had them for too long.

Hope this helps anybody on the fence, but the lift itself was noticeable and only enhanced by the larger tires.

Forgot to add... shout out to @Speed Freek for the Supreme spacer, Supreme AAL, diff kit, and ECGS bushing install!

He lived up to his much hyped and highly recommended reputation, the guy is the man!

I just got the 285s over the weekend with the sale too. Does the supreme kit take care of the dif drop and lower the skid plate? Any guidance on that would be great.

I ordered up and installed the diff drop kit from Supreme (https://supremesuspensions.com/coll...ntial-drop-kit-4wd-4x4?variant=21394092982352) but have heard this isn't completely necessary and can sometimes actually cause some vibration when in 4WD... I put it on anyway and IF I come across any weird sounds in 4WD figure I can always take it off.

I didn't do anything with the lower skid plate.

Thanks for answering. Did you upgrade your bump stops too? Curious which size would be appropriate.

Nope, kept the bump stops as is. I just did the 2" supreme spacers in the front, 2" supreme AAL in the rears, supreme diff kit, and ECGS bushing... everything else is stock (minus the tires, of course).

This sounds dead on correct to me. Top plate spacers move the entire shock assembly "down". This means if you bottom out your suspension, the shock will take the brunt of the force and will eventually destroy the shock. The spring/pre-load spacer you are using is how adjustable shocks work and won't put any extra stress on the shock (maybe just the spring). I didn't know this was available and now you have me thinking of doing this on my pro sometime in the future. Pretty cool! I guess worst case scenario, the spring breaks and you have to buy a new one... maybe go with a custom eibach spring that can handle the pre-load? Comes in red too! It will be interesting to see how this holds up over the next few years.

Question for those using this kit. With the AAL in the rear... do your rear shocks top out now? With an extra 1.5" in the rear, flexing the rear might cause issues with the stock Fox shocks when dropping down on one side, right?

Any rubbing? was there any cutting required? Any vibration stiffness or strange ride quality issues? I feel like these trucks struggle stock so Im wondering what modding it like this does other than sacrifice more fuel. Truck looks killer btw. I have the same truck and I am on the fence about the lift. Last Tacoma I had I lifted and it was great but a little quirky.
