Last night I went up into the woods (Alabama) cause im a teenager and like to have fun:drunk:. Well, to get the spot called 'Dollar' you have to drive about a mile up a dirt/mud road to the top of a hill where the bonfire is. Needless to say I drove all the way up there and parked between two tractors on one side and an Expedition on the other. I drove about 5 people up there in the Taco and then a lady friend called and needed a ride to the top. (Sorry for the long story) When i was pulling foward to head down the hill, I turned my wheel a little to far to the right and dented/scratched the hell outta my back right door. I got outta there fast enough to not get my arse kicked by somebody. But the expedtion seemed fine. Im pretty sure I can just 'pull' the dent out. The dent isn't too bad. But there are two really deep scratches in the dented area. Sooo my question isss How much would a new door cost if the scratches and dent are much worse than I thought?!?! TIA

I will take a pic later today

The expedtion was a piece of shit. I hit the side of his bumper and wheel well(misspelled). I found out later on whos it was and the dude could care less. Me and my bud checked his car really good and it seemed fine. I understand how it could sound like a "hit and run" but his SUV literally falling apart.

Seems to me you talked to everyone except the owner of the Expedition. Not cool. And on top of that you call the truck you hit a piece of shit?? Like I said, you suck. You should tell the guy you fukked up and hit his property then let HIM tell you whether or not he cares. How would you like it if I did that to your POS??

That SUV is in similar condition to the expedition. But his is much worse off. Im pretty sure that some metal peices from his fender or bumper were sticking out and I grinded up on those.

I'm just sayin-maybe that's all the guy can afford to have-does NOT excuse you from being a responsible person and tell the guy! It's just wrong the way you did things and you know it. Then you come in here and ask for help for yourself. Nice

I can tell you were never a teenager at a bonfire, parked by tractors on a hill in Alabama. Me neither. Apparently they have different rules there.

I understand where your coming from but this dude was drunk outta his mind. I talked to his friend about it and he said it was no big deal. He also said that he has hit sides of things like bushes and trees and doesnt even stop to look. Just drives on.

Dry ice to pop the dent out. Come up with a cool story about how you got the damage.

Door skin, I'd forget any popping that out and bondo. Just me though. Or a replacement door from scrapyard.
