Is there anyone in the Denver area or along the Colorado Front Range with a 1st Gen Taco with either a 5100/Eibach or Full OME lift that would be willing to take me for a ride, or perhaps let me go for a short spin in your rig?

I'm trying to get a better feel for how the street ride compares between

    1. a 5100 lift (i.e. 5100 @ 0.85 or 1.75 front with stock/OEM coils and 5100 or 5125 with an AAL in rear)
    2. a 5100/Eibach front with 5100 or 5125 rear with AAL
    3. a full OME lift

specifically on paved streets. Gravel / dirt roads would be a plus.

I drive an '04 DC 4x4 that I want to lift 2-3", so I'm particularly interested in the above configurations in a 1st Gen DC, but would be grateful for rides in any 1st gen Tacos so configured.

    Thanks much.

Duh! (slaps forhead) I didn't see a CO subforum, but I do see a South West subforum -- is that the one you mean?

i have a full OME. i may be in the denver area around dec. 13th (or the beginning of the following week) if you want to see see what it is like. i'll actually be down to get a load of stuff so you might be able to see what it is like with a load too (which helps greatly).

The mods kindly moved this thread to the South West regional subforum.

Anyone have a 1st gen taco, preferably a double cab, with either 5100-only, 5100/Eibach+AAL, 5100/OME coils, or full OME in the Denver area or along the Colorado Front Range that could meet and let me see how it rides?

    Thx.
