I have the blacked out housing tail lights installed on my 2013 Tacoma. The depo ones. Recently, my passenger brake lights have been screwing up. Sometimes it's bright but more times than not the light emitting is dim. Anyone else with this problem? Fix? Lights are about a year old

Have you try reseating the connection? My passenger side went out so I decided to reseat the connections and it's been working fine the last couple of months.

Yes I took them out, disconnected everything and checked wires, etc. all good but I'm assuming it's the actual LED's..which it doesn't look like I can disassemble ...

    Any resolution on this @TacoAF

(Really like that screen name also)

My DEPO driver side tail light won't work. Turn Signal works, reverse light works.

When I press the brake it won't light up!!!! When the dtrl or headlights are on the LED brake light is more dim than the right side. But it is getting power.

Just when you hit the brake it all goes black!!! Have taken both lights off and switched to the opposite side and verified it's the light.

    Any help would be appreciated

Just a thought, maybe look into an LED relay to replace the OEM tail light relay or maybe install resistors :notsure:

FWIW, I installed an LED flasher relay on my first gen to correct hyper blinkers after I installed LEDs. Cost me less than 10 bucks and was plug not play install. Easy Pease. Worth at least looking into ;)

I switched the lights (left to right and right to left) and it didn't change anything. Pretty sure it's the light. Before I bought them I searched on here and everybody seemed to like them without issue.

Now I hear that people have had this exact same issue before. Blows

I had a very similar issue, so I removed the lights, unplugged them, cleaned off the bulbs and connectors and they've been fine ever since!
