The long straps are supposed to help you fold it up.
I’d do the bungee things though lol
    That’s getting fixed

Is the mount parallel with the bed? Mine is going on a kB voodoo and top bars run perpendicular. Had no idea they would be premounted.

And no rain fly? Isn’t that what the side curtains are when closed?

And seeing the shape ups delivered to one of you guys is quite unacceptable. Not knocking DA but dang sure will be thoroughly inspecting mine before ups gets my signature. Monday can’t get here quick enough.

Ahhh gotcha, idk why but I was expecting the windows to be like this. I can’t even go camping anywhere with these CA wildfires raging.

Yes the aluminum rails are parallel with the bed so you’re good.

Make sure you thoroughly inspect your tent. I missed some shipping damage.

and remember to not accept the tent if you find damage.

    Ah

Did you get any shots of the inside of the tent? Also, did it have the LED light setup?

Call me blind, but I’m not quite sure how it’s a better design than the Toro when it looks exactly the same. I don’t see anything that would prevent sideways rain from getting in with the DA model. I think that’s why everyone expected something different.

You can buy a toro? My goal here is just to get you guys into a hardshell for an affordable price. There are a lot of subtle differences between the toro and DA. I’ve had my hands on both.

I don’t make anything if you guys buy a DA or anything else. Im active on TW so I figured I’d help when and where I can.

Not saying I’m going to buy either. You said the DA design is specifically better with the window, I just don’t see any difference.

Oh. I’ll have to look back and see.
Maybe with version 1 of both I thought the windows would be better with the rain fly.
(I think the rain fly windows are better personally) but I think there was an issue with rolling them up.

It does have the led on the overhead cross pole that is closes to the door. It’s an led strip that looks to be glued/epoxied to the pole. I haven’t plugged in the power to it but it’s there.

I’ll get some pictures of the inside later today.

Here are some picture of the inside. I have mine sitting in the back yard while I wait for the keys since I can’t lock it. I don’t want to mount it and have it open up or have to keep it closed with straps for now.

nice! Also are the condensation mats there?

And do you have a shot of the plastic skylight? Really curious on how that would hold up. About to pull the trigger. Just want to make sure I’m making the right purchase. Seems like ikamper has a mesh skylight.

Bought these bungees from Home Depot. Really does make it so much easier to pack away. I got two of them and just hooked them to the metal ring closest to the hinge side of the tent.
Using two 36” bungees on a Warrior XL
