Here are the detailed changes in the 2009 Tacomas. I'm sure everyone knows this already, but there were a few things that surprised me, like the spare tire no longer has the TPMS, and the LSD rear differential has been discontinued. I found out that the auto-LSD is a hydraulic booster type that is operated electronically. Also, I noticed a few people commenting on the window labels listing a higher MPG on the 2009's, it seems that one of the reasons for this is the lower viscosity fluids being used in the differentials (75W-85). There are also other minor changes to the doors, A/C, defroster, temp sensor, exhaust manifold, gas cap, frame, etc.
