Hi, my name is Brett and I have an addiction.... to detailing and cleaning.

So I'm sure most everyone on here has used many different products and I'm sure everyone has there preference. I've found one that, for now, I really like a lot.

    CarGuys Hybrid Wax Sealant https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y5KQSKF/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This company does have some other products, but this one is the only one I've used and it's pretty awesome. I've used TurtleWax products, Meguiar's products, Griot's Garage, and some others. All of those were great but in my opinion, but nothing that really stood out like this one.

The surface feels very slick and the shine lasts and water beads off nicely.

That's cool stuff, but I don't believe that my Tacoma will ever be that clean again regardless what I use.

    Later.

Lol, I'll take that as a compliment to my marketing skills. Definitely not an advert. Just sharing what I found recently and thought everyone else might like it as well.

How would you best apply this or a similar product without causing swirls in a black truck?

Honestly the product seems very easy to work with unlike some other ones where it leaves a haze or streaks. The product says that it can be used in the sun on a warm to the touch surface. However, for best results apply in a cool shaded area. I can’t imagine you would have any issues working in a shaded area on a cool clean surface.

Also it’s good to use a microfiber towel. One for wiping down the sprayed wet surface and then a dry wipe down.

I like the idea of "spray sealant" because it goes beyond just waxing. I wonder how well this stuff binds to the paint and how long you can go between applications?

Don't know about Car Guys but I use Duragloss Aquawax after I wash my truck once a week when the weather is above 40 degrees. Anything lower than that freezes my hands.

I’m not sure cause it’s new for me. I just used it for the first time yesterday. I’ll let you know how extended use goes.

Yep one of the reason I love Adams Guard and Gloss. You spray it on the vehicle when wet and wipe dry. Looking forward to trying out Hydrosilex next. It's a spray on then hose off.

Just looked up that Hydrosilex...WOW! Definitely going to try that out. A bit on the pricey side though compared to this Hybrid Wax, but looks like it makes a great clean look.

It will be a while before I get any or get to use it. We don’t typically see decent temps till March. Plus I did a real dummy move and backed into another vehicle in a parking lot....getting damage fixed in a week or so. :censored:
