Yea my brother has one of those also. I've never shot it though I'll have to give it a try and see how well it conceals on me. I appreciate the responses man.

    Several hundred rounds thru a S & W Bodyguard .380 and never a problem.

I've herd good things about them. How does it feel concealed? Small, lightweight?

Many people complain about long trigger pull. I carry concealed safety off 1 in the chamber so for me the long trigger pull is the safety. All in all nice solid feel and the laser sight that is included is a nice bonus.

I misread your post- the Sig P238 is based off the Colt Mustang while the P230 and P232 are based off the Walther PP series.

Of note with the LCP, I've found it to be grip sensitive- like a lot of semi autos, you need a good grip on it for it to run reliably. Several friends have limp wristed it and had a FTF or a FTE; obviously not the gun's fault. Also due to how flat it is and the the snappy recoil (recoil operated/very light weight), if you have larger hands it tends to rotate in your hand as you shoot. When I first got mine I noticed my shots start pulling to the right slightly as did most folks who also shot it. If you hold the unloaded gun in your hand and simulate recoil, you'll see how the butt of the gun moves against the fleshy part of your palm. Adding the pinky extension helped fix that issue; being aware of what was happening cured it. Just a function of how small the gun actually is. Drop it in a pocket and it basically disappears. It's not a gun you want to shoot a ton; it's not designed for that and frankly it gets uncomfortable after a couple of magazines. Ruger specifically states in the owner's manual not to run hotter, none SAAMI, loads (ex. Buffalo Bores) through it; the barrel is thin and there have been some failures with folks overloading it; same with the Kel-Tec version.

Yea my brothers LCP definetly isn't one you want to shoot alot. The crimson trace laser he has on it kind of eats at the bottom of your trigger finger when you pull the trigger. Other than that I get a decent grip on it. As for him he isn't a fan of shooting it. But like he says hopefully if he needs it one day it'll be for only one or two shots at most hopefully so a little irritation he can live with.

Any issues with it? I've herd some complain about trigger slap hurting finger, others with grip issues?
Also a couple saying it didn't seam like it last past 3000rds.
How's it do with different types of ammo?

Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to find the right gun

I don't have any trigger issues...it's a long trigger but thats it

Grip issues were easily solved with a hogue slip on sleeve
I haven't made it to 3000 rounds yet so I dont know but Kel-Tec supposedly has great customer service

I've only used cheap ammo so far and had no issues (dont recall brand or grain bc i just buy random stuff on sale and stockpile it)

I've also put a box of Hornady Critical Defense down the pipe with no issues

It will occasionally not feed right if you don't pull the slide back and let it go to chamber the first round...

Thanks for response man. I really like the way they look and size. Plus it being 9mm makes it even better. Im putting this gun at the top of my considerations for the new one I believe. Just saw one today at the gum store now I want one

There are many different slim-line guns out there similar in shape/size to the PF9

Make sure you handle them all...i know Kahr makes one that a lot of people like, Ruger makes one...

i had a P11 and a Pf9 i liked both but the trigger pull on the Pf9 is way better than the p11. if you want 9mm power in a super slim gun the keltec is a great buy

Does the p11 have an even longer trigger pull?

Had a Kel Tec P3AT the thing just felt like a piece of s*it. Never trusted it and was sorry the day I bought it. I know there are kel tec fans but i'm not 1 of them.

All of the above. The more I read about it the less I trusted it. Everyone recommends a "fluff n buff" to make it more reliable. The way I feel is if it's not reliable right out of the box than I can't rely on it. I put thousands of rounds thru my Glock 19 and never a misfire, now that's a gun I trust with my life, in fact I did as I carried it as my service gun for 15 years in the NYPD although I did carry a S & W model 640 .38 cal on my ankle just in case.
