Hey Peckerbeater, my cap has got some leaking seals and is generally starting to show its age in a few ways. Rather than spend a bunch of time working on it, I might just get a new one that is stouter and can handle a roof/rack load for lumber/camping awning/RTT, so I might price out a LEER 100RCC similar to yours.

Question: The Dewalt rack/mounts you have were aftermarket, correct? LEER site only shows two types of Thule systems:
Thule Aero Bar Roof Rack System
Thule Tracker II Roof Rack System

Any reason you didn't go with one of the Thule systems?

Also, do you have pics from the interior of the Dewalt tower mounts? I assume they are through-bolted and have a rubber gasket or silicone sealant? Did you install those yourself, or did the LEER dealer?

    Any leaking after several years?

The DeWalt ProRac system was the factory installed rack set up that Leer was using at the time I bought my cap , it has since been discontinued and now they only supply the Thule systems

    No leaks in my cap

    Yeah, actually, I would.

It looks like even the Thules listed on the LEER site that use a track system are being discontinued by Thule, and Thule is replacing them with a non-track, direct-bolt through system similar to the Dewalt.

By the time I have my shit together, this might be what is offered by LEER.

Thanks Pete. Simple backing plates and I assume they spooged a ton of silicone in the bolts holes before assembly.

So it looks like the underside of the roof has some reinforcement ridges, too, spanning the front near the hard points (and across the back, I assume) then also running fore-aft between those? Sort of hard to tell from the pic and lighting, but I can see some contours under the liner.
