    Yeah, it seems a waste of space. Some sound deadener and then something...useful over that so it can accomodate MY stuff. My small Crafstman box is a priority. It won't fit anywhere now. If I can get my hitch tookbox and compressor box back there, that would be optimal.

    He's just running the regular Dakar pack, no AAL.

    But.. Pete.. what say you on axle shims? I was told to install a 3 degree shim in the Dakar thread. Sound advice to get rid of any vibes before they happen, or not recommended until I need it?
