Subscribing. My front suspension will be modified in the coming months to include a Fox 2.5" triple bypass shock on each front wheel in addition to the Fox 2.5" coilovers I'm currently running.

The current shocks will need to be softened -- slight dampening but more than just a coil carrier. Valving in the bypass shocks will handle most of the work. Also need to swap out the current seals for high-temp ones.

This will be on stock-length lower control arms. I'll give you guys a call when the time comes.

    Thanks!

    -Mike

I bought my Icons for my 06 access cab brand new. Just the reg ones not the long travel. I have only put about 1.5k on them so far. With only normal driving and maybe some light off roading, how many miles can I put on them before I should start thinking about rebuilding them? Please pm my your response.

Think about changing the oil at least every year- that gives you the chance to go thru the rest of the components like seals and shafts to ensure long life, not to mention you can always change the ride characteristics..

We do in fact make replacement coil - overs for aftermarket kits like Pro Comp and Fabtech to replace coil spacers... Basicly our performance kit but longer-

Also guys there are signs of needing to be rebuilt:

"Softening of suspension" is your truck riding different than when you installed them initially...?

"Rusted Shafts" Rust and pits on shafts will ruin the seals on the shocks causing leaking and/or Nitrogen Loss...

"Time" If you have had your coil overs on your truck for over a year, its a good idea to at least have the oil changes and gone through...

-If you maintain regular maintenance just like the other components of your vehicle they will last allot longer. Not to mention that "Blown" shocks can cause improper tire wear and alignment issues...
