Does anyone know what type of exhaust is it when the pipes are going up though the bed and are pointed up like in diesel trucks? And also if it is possible to put on other diesel trucks like a gmc sierra 3500hd? I put a example of a truck with the pipes and the truck I want to put it on.

So lame. I would never run one on a gasser and only run one on a diesel if I was drag racing because the smoke blocks the timing beams.

Please don't... It's possible, but don't desecrate a perfectly good truck by adding smoke stacks... No truck deserves that kind of humiliation, not even Dodges :p

Stacks on diesels look good in my opinion, maybe a little bit smaller than this.

It's called stacks and it can be done to almost any truck. Typically it will come through the bed between the driveshaft and frame, so it will be off-center but not all the way to the side. I have seen a Ford F-350 in my neighborhood wher the guy have a manifold inside the bed to split it and have stacks on both sides of the bed (inside the bed, but along the bedside). Another guy has a Dodge with it straight up where it comes through the bed. It looks a little strange being off-centered like that. I think they both race (looking at their tires etc.)
    :burnrubber:

To each his own, if you want to do it, there are a lot of people who do it, so go ahead, but looking at the comments above apparently Tacoma owners don't like it.

Stacks on a pickup are only for show. They do not add any performance. Came from a small town in Colorado, where most of the guys did this with their diesel pickups, so they could look like their driving a semi.
