    Would be a nice swap. Rumor awhile back was the next generation Frontier would have a version of this engine from the factory.

    I'm also pretty stoke for this. I'll probably end up dropping one in my manual 4x4 in the next couple years. Engine is coming up on 300k. Any idea what compatibility with the stock tranny would be like?

    According the web site adapter plates for various models will be available.
