    I just changed the oil in my diff on a 99 2.4L 2sp auto. I put in the recommended 1.4 Q. I mixed (due to availability) Lucas 80w-90 Gear oil ( 1L ) and a store brand 75w-90 ( .4 L)

Now a have a squeeking that I can hear below 20 mph, only upon acceleration and below 5mph upon deceleration.

I have tried to stay next to cars at higher speeds to see if I can hear it at any higher speeds but it seems to be gone.

How can you tell if the rear diff is LSD or not? I know that it usually has a sticker but is that the only way? cause stickers do fall off sometimes.

Umm, I may be wrong, but I dont think mixing is the best idea. It's usually safest to go with the manual reccommendation. Different additives in oils dont always jive well together.

No LSD sticker. Per the manual and the pep boys computer it's just a 80-90 gear oil
