Well in that case, I'd just go for an SR5 DC LB. You're obviously a modder based on the listing for your 2005, and probably will strip out the suspension anyway. So just save yourself the cash and go SR5. The seats in the SR5 are decent enough .. just get some good covers all around. And you know you can add the temp/compass display if it's important to you, as it's already wired for it. And then you can install an ARB locker.

Yep, this is truly the benefit of the ALSD over the mechanical LSD. With the mechanical, you could not have both LSD and locker. With ALSD, you can have both in one truck!

Even the DC SB is too long, did you see photos of my rear bumper damage? Anything longer would get seriously hung up on the trail, so that is why they can't call a long bed double cab 'Off Road'. I agree it is too bad that they don't offer the A-TRAC in other models... or even the rear locker.

FWIW I walk circles around trd sports with the mech diff...

i say that its silly to want a mech diff or to say the sport is worthy of one because TRAC works great! i say throw a supercharger in the trd sport and xrunner stock!!!

Or re-design the wheelbase to reduce rear overhang? Approach and departure angles too low will limit off roading.

meh, if your going to worry about approach and departure that much youll likely wind up messing something up and putting bumpers on and chopping the bedsides anyway

Guy couldnt keep truck so Im taking over. All my mods are going back on the 2011 that I took off from the 05...:D
