I was just wondering what the difference betewwn all the different Flowmaster 40 mufflers are?

    -40 series delta flow
    -Super 40
    -Origional 40
    -Super 44

There all two chambered exhaust but i was just wondering if there was a difference in sound (interior and exterior) or differences in performance?

Also is dual exit from the muffler on a 2nd gen necessary (performance) or does it change the overall sound?

Lastly what inlet and outlet dimensions, and offsets to get on an 05 double cab long bed.

Not looking for opionions. (but there welcome too!)

I know the 44 is alot deeper than the others...i believe the higher the number the deeper the sound

Ya i know I've searched all of that but the engine drone overpowers the exhaust sound almost every time making it almost impossible to hear what it actually sounds like.
