Did you guys wrap the fitting with Teflon tape?? Wouldn’t the heat ruin the tape?

Yes, and no. It doesn't get that hot.

Won’t a vacuum build up on cool down and maybe pull water in through the seals if you have the check valve?

Its my understanding the replacement valve (90930-03136) is 2 way, not a check valve. If you have concerns you may substitute it for a fuel filter.

@state48overland sells the complete kit, with the british standard pipe thread, so you don't need any teflon tape. TW supporters and friendly staff to deal with!

Just did mine with the Low Range Offroad kit, real easy, includes everything you need except a few zip ties and some teflon tape.
Like a few other people here, my diff equalized pressure when I removed the original one-way valve.

One note about Low Range Offroad, my order sat there doing nothing for 7 business days. Shortly I sent an e-mail asking what was going on with my order, I received a pre-shipment notification. Don't know if they were just running behind, or my order slipped through the cracks. Never received a direct response.

Not to dig up an old thread but did you have to remove the inner fender liner to feed the line to the gas filler compartment or is it accessible from underneath the truck? Think of doing it this way. Thx

I was looking to put it there but it seemed like you need to remove the fender liner so i put it behind the tail light

I was just told the black bezel around the filler can be removed and makes for the easiest way to put it in that location. I haven't tried but I'll report back this weekend.

Right i forgot the details of the install. I couldnt get the black part off, the screws are seized up. I didnt have the tools or the workspace to deal with that and i didnt want to strip them. I was doing this is my apartment complex parking lot.
