Yes. It's basically longer bolts and thick washers that lower the front crossmember.

Waste of time dropping the diff. If you search you will find a number of posts defining the downfalls of the diff drop kits.

I did it on my 2013 and have had no issues. I dont go hardcore off roading either. In that link that was posted, for the fact the rock did that much damage it wouldnt matter if the diff was dropped in inch or not...it was going to cause damage...a lot of damage.

You didn't read that the diff drop only rotates the diff doing pretty much nothing ?

Just a few little things. It's my DD
If you only added spacers and no tires or anything, it should ride about the same as it was. Hopefully it's just you. I did the diff drop. Vibrations? Well with my mud tires I can't hear over the roar of them and then mud tires drive different and a little rougher than others so I prob wouldn't feel a small vibration. It is easy to do so if you don't like you can pull them back out easy.

I used the diff drop on my FJ when I put a spacer lift had no issues. I have both the CB drop and diff but not sure if I will install them. Will depend on CV angles and any vibes.

There is a huge misconception out there that diff drops help your cv's by lowering the diff. The way they install, they slightly rotate the diff. The drop is so minimal that even if it does help your cv's it is so little help that it could pretty much be considered useless.

Some vehicles have major vibration issues and the diff drop will rotate the diff to straighten out your front driveshaft, just like how the axle shims for the rear will do the same for your rear driveshaft.

So far the general consensus has been that lifting doesn't usually cause front end vibes on 2nd gens, so the diff drop is of no use and for offroaders people have ran into clearance issues from the diff drop resulting in broken parts. This is why there is so much bias towards these diff drop kits.

If I were you, I would see if there are vibes (sounds like there aren't), you will know pretty easily if there are. If there are no vibes I wouldn't do they diff drop for fear that you could possibly introduce vibes. If there are some vibes you can see if the diff drop helps. Typically vibes come from the rear end so it may not help.
