Dim clock and Temp?

    Leveled front, TSB rear, TSB Transmission, Always on fog lights, Socked windshield / bedsides, Trimmed mud flaps, Weather Techs, 4 Extra d-rings, Map Light Mod, Avid Light Bar, OEM Bed Mat, Locked Back Window, Secret Stash Area,
    Has anyone attatched the dimmer to the clock and temp? I have searched around and nada! I was thinking a simple splice would do the trick.... but im in the medical field so.................:eek:

    That's a good question. I thought mine did but they just go down a step with the headlights but do not adjust with the dimmer.

    So I tried to dim both the clock and the temp/compass this weekend. The temp /compass would not dim till I turned the dial about 1/2 way down, then they would go to the brightness of when you turn lights on. No middle ground. The clock I could not get to work at all, tried both green wires then got nervous thinking of all the other stuff connected to that harness.

    What's the big deal? Why do you want to dim them?

    Guess I just wanted everything to dim at the same rate... It's part of my disease :drool:.

    :laugh: Sounds good to me. I didn't even know that the clock didn't dim properly.
