Very interesting. Where would you put the ferrite beads? And yes this is a serious question haha.

No shame. It's a legit question. Put them on the wires leading up to the plug connector.

It basically keeps the wire from acting like an antenna for the noisy equipment

Ordered a pair of sports in white this morning from Lightwerkz. Still on sale and in stock. I visited their shop about ten years ago. I dropped off a pair of BMW M3 headlights for projector upgrade. Ceasar and his team performed the upgrade on the spot and I was off and running in a couple of hour and back on the car that afternoon. Great bunch of folks at Lightwerkz!

Glad I canceled my order with DD and went with Lightwerkz. Ordered Wednesday night and got my sports this morning. Can’t wait to throw them on. :kona:

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to tell on the light itself whether it is sport or pro. I just installed amber pros today and the box just says DD SS3 (with a little Pro sticker on the side of box). The reason I am curious is because compared to the OEM LED headlights the pro fogs aren't that bright to me (perhaps I had unrealistic expectations). I know from reading the fog light thread that the pros have a taller pattern with less of a cutoff but just want to verify I got what I paid for.

I have the SAE amber pros in this picture with the factory 2020 LED headlights for comparison

not the best picture but it's something

Someone was kind enough to answer this for me. There are small white labels where the harness plugs in to the light body. I do have the pros and definitely glad I went with them because they don’t seem overly bright

Have the amber Pro’ and returning them. And yes I like them always on, which means it’s on me. If you pull up 5 feet from your garage their separate. However anything past 30 feet and it’s all yellow…. It’s lighting up freeway signs 30ft over my head from 50 yards away…. Getting the sports. Love the lights, but need them better controlled. I’ll get a light bar if I want to blind on coming traffic going forward! ;)

Doesn’t sound like you have the right light pattern.
