dirty deeds' deeds, done dirt CHEAP! and dirty vibes

As seen in the pics, my rear 5100s were cooked. One went before LBL, one after. Truck rode okay, but it was noticeable when I put these ext Fox shocks on.

And they're probably a true 2.0 shock. Easily 1/4" or more diameter over 5100s

 

Washed and waxed. Should've waxed immediately following the scratch buffing last week, oh well.
Can't wait to make it all moot at Red River Gorge in a couple weeks!

@allmotorrex Pretty sure my clutch is on its way out. Smoked er pretty good at RRG in April, again. Bound to happen another time.
Starting to chatter ever so lightly once in a while. Engagement is 100% not what it was a year ago.

Not sure if you've seen this already, but it has a ton of info on the transmission and clutch.

 

I read through that once or twice. Realized I have most those issues from learning to wheel and the clutch. Times I should've used 4lo instead of smoking the clutch.
It's poured smoke 3 different times, and light smoke/stink too many other times to keep track. It's time.

Potential to boost later down the road, so the Phoenix Stage 3 would be a worthy investment at only ~$250

I was able to disable the text and email sounds on my HU with my AT&T S8 Active. Switched to Sprint, same, but new (again), device and I can't get it to quit playing the text/email sound when I get a notification. Like the setting doesn't hold when the truck is shut off weird af. Group text chats get out of hand sometimes on my morning drive to work

Simply wanna be able to jam out my 80's hair metal without interruptions!

 

Turn your notification volume off. That's what I have to do. Try that .

 

Or....Stop in Sprint Store. They have people there that actually know how to do things to products they sell....in some cases....occasionally....at least they helped me shut off spell check after I tried 14 times and it kept resetting itself to default setting.

It's not a phone thing, definitely the truck's HU.
Not a JBL or EnTune or whatever the fancy ones are. I assume it's whatever the base HU is for a 2014

 

Oh....Thought you were talking about S8/S9/whatever you have....

 

Might be a difference of carrier, but highly doubt that. I also don't think it's the phone itself, S8 Active, because I didn't have this issue once I found the fix on the AT&T device.

I'll do what Mike suggested and just turn the volume off for texts/emails/other noti's
