Wish mine had DRLs :( Maybe people would stop pulling out in front of me 30ft away going -25 mph if I did. Anyone know if there is a way to add that in?

DRLs don't help with that. I have them and people still act like they didn't see me.

I cannot find the drl box underneath my steering wheel. I don't see the box anywhere. I have a 2002 2.7l double Tacoma. Anybody else having a problem locating the wire? Somebody help pleaseeee

Where under the hood on drivers side? I knOw I probably sound like a idiot but I have litterally looked a good 2 hours for the DRL box so I can cut the green and white wire but the box is nowhere to be found. Like I know every says it's underneath steering wheel a little to the right but it's not there on mine. I'll check again under hood tomorrow. Like I said I have a 2002 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 2.7l. Maybe mine is different?

It should be under the dash of the drivers side like right above the Accelerator. its a black box thats bolted to a mounting bracket with a sticker that says 'Daytime running lights' (which might have fallen off from the years) Hope I helped cause I just cut mine

It's all good. The only reason that I feel it would conk out on me would be from my own error.
It made it through a very hard NE winter. I think it will hold.
Just curious, what were the specific issues you have heard about?

Well if you go throughout the thread (cause I like to get everyones opinion and see how there "trial and error" went. but anyways there have been where some guys completely lost DRL even with hooking up the wire straight back together however theres multiple ways it couldve stopped working.. like for
    example: 1. Blown fuse?
    2. A wiring problem else where.
    3. Bad DRL module (not sure what theyre called)
    4. etc. who knows what the electrical gremlins have done!

Yeah, I ran into an issue as a result of my own human error. The crimps I made weren't strong enough.
Some people don't know that the DRLs don't come on with the e-brake engaged (add me to the list) hahaha
I am very happy with how it all turned out. I did ask for help from a few people.
FYI - I have Jumpers switchbacks in there with a switch. Had to add the DRL module, my 2011 didn't have it.

Ah I see, well at least yours was fixable I just hope the few others found the fix.
And I knew all along cause I always engage my E-brake hahaha
Just curious how long have you had it on and all power to you man! Im planning to do this mod I just wanted to get others opinions and what not. But how are the jumpers holding up? and did you tape them up? Cause im planning on using Crimp spade connectors since I have some left over from my 1st mod and theyll be kind of an easier to disconnect if I ever need to

Jumper's stuff is great! Highly recommended.
I did a crimp, tape and liquid tape. :D
Wanted to be sure that they were not going to get shitted up.
Yeah, the disconnection - my philosophy is that everything is replaceable. Just depends on how much $$ ya wanna spend.

I will post some stuff up for you. Not really much to see. It is all internal (stuck behind plastic now).
I had that whole under dash ripped open for it.
I will show you the final results.
