I used a small flat head screwdriver, the ones you use to tighten the little screws holding the temples to the glasses. The screwdriver needs to enter the end with no wires. What you see is the back of the connector so you need to insert it at the other side and that’s where the little clip holding the wire is. I’ll take another picture for everyone to see.
Don’t cut the wire, I’ll share pictures how to remove the terminal with the little flat head screwdriver.

Help! I disconnected the wire on the relay running light assembly and when I tried to start the car everything died. I checked the voltage on the battery and it was at 1.8 Volts. Got the battery charged and now the car still wont start.

When you say it won't start, do you really mean that it won't crank?

Or is it that it does crank over but just won't fire up?

If the battery went to 1.8v, sound like a bad battery.

    Thanks for the reply!
    Yes it wont even crank.
I replaced the battery, but still wont crank over. Same symptom.

Im thinking I shorted something out on the module, but Im not sure if the module would have to do with the truck not starting. I didnt touch anything other than the bottom panel to access the terminal to remove the wire.

first, yes, bringing an ooold thread back to life.
second, yes, my eyes hurt from googling so much.
third, I followed this thread (and others) and it worked. kind of.

I disabled the white-green wire under the driver dash going into the DRL main relay box. With my OEM headlights, it did the trick. All functions normal, on, off, high beam, low beam, start the truck, parking brake off and no DRL's! yay

The driving force behind finally doing this little mod was for my soon to be installed LED projector retrofits. Been testing everything as I go and got 'em all wired and tested aimed about ready for final install and I discover that while they are hooked up into the truck, I started it, e-brake off and I get headlights on AND they flicker between low/high! WTH??

    Anybody got any advice?

My only thought is that I read somewhere in a post about unearthing the DRL relay #4 on the passenger side somewhere up under the dash and removing a wire from that....

oh, and if anybody has a good video or picture of how to use the tool to get wires out of that DRL harness, I'd love to see, 'cuz I'm more than happy to remove a wire and test, but I am not going to be cutting random wires in the hopes I find the right one. I struggled for about an hour trying to remove that white-green wire and finally said F it and cut it. (left enough to repair it if need be, and looks like it may be "need be")

    Hey y’all!
This is my official first post/reply on here.

I tried pulling out the wiring but just wouldn’t budge. (Yes, I tried clicking the thing on top)

so my next move was to snip it, I accidentally snipped the wrong green and white wire on the other side. Does anyone know what this wire does? So far all my lights work.
