Disable seat belt chirp mod - maybe not

I just completed the seat belt chime disable mod, however I'm not sure that's what it actually does. Now when I get in the truck, put the key in and start I get 3-4 chirps. What I did notice is that prior to the mod if I moved the shifter from D to R and back to D the chirps would begin again, now that does not happen, so at least partial victory. Anyone else get the same results?

 

I just read a thread where someone else described the exact results I received so based on that, I assume the mod worked correctly. Thanks for all the great responses

 

I did the disable mod. Before the mod, i would get 3-4 chirps on startup, and if I didn't buckle, It would be almost a constant chirp.
Now, I get the 3-4 chirps, but could, if i wanted to, drive unbuckled and not get that annoying chirp constantly.
