    Hey guys,
My name is Ben from dissent offroad.
We have just released our rack system for the 3rd gen and would like to branch out to the second gen.
I would like to gauge intrest in the rack system and I am also in need of a 2nd gen Tacoma to get measurements and test fit the racks, there will be a 30% discount for the use of your truck for fitment and measuring.
We are located in grass valley ca. Please pm me if interested.
Here are a couple pics and a link to the 3rd gen thread.
    Thanks!

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]hey guys, want to see if there is any intrest for a dissent offroad over canopy bed rack for a softopper.
I'm building an all aluminum modular bed rack and got the first prototype today. I will be adding several slotted holes, logo, rotopax mount, maxtrax mount ect ect. The extra height is needed for longer objects to clear the shark fin, I plan to add camp table brackets on the underside to utalize this space. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] I want to see what would be most popular,
Over canopy(also needed for hard shell tent), cab height or below cab?
    Feedback is appreciated!
    Thanks

    UPDATE!
Thanks @Tacomamike mike for chiming in!
He is correct, the 2 racks do not connect.
I do plan on a 2nd gen as well and from my research it should be an easy transition. If there is anyone with a second gen that wants to come by my shop for measurements it would speed up the process. I'm in grass valley ca so pm me if interested.

I have a few other racks in the works as well.
I will be doing a headache/chaser rack for those that want a cab rack but don't need the full bed rack and will also be doing a mid high bed rack for rtt.
I have many options and accessories in the works as well!
I'm still working on the prices for the cab rack as manufacturing cost has come in much higher than originally thought.
As it stands right now the cab rack will be $649, that will include all hardware, 4 load bars and your choice between a light bar fairing or no light bar. Additional load bars will be $55 each.
I will be offering a black textured powder coat on everything but the load bars and that will be $75
Custom colors available for local pick up.

The bed rack is $1000 for the short bed and $1075 for the long bed. This includes all hardware and 3 load bars. Additional load bars are $55 each.
The flip up side doors/accessories mounts are going to cost a bit more than originally thought as well due to hardware cost.
I was not happy with the cheep China hinges so I am have custom hinges made in the USA to my specs. These will look much nicer and much higher quality than the hinges I was originally using!
The price for the doors will be $350 each for short bed and $400 for long bed. These will include locking latches, custom quick release billet hinges, gas struts and various mounting holes for accessories.
All racks will come ready for the doors so they can be added at anytime.
The weigh on the bed rack with all bolts is 44lbs for the short bed and 50lbs for the long bed.
    Cab rack is around 35lbs.
Both racks are cnc cut and formed from 1/8" 5052 aluminum.
Feel free to pm me if you have any questions or would like to order. I have 10 cab racks almost completed, the bed racks are about 3-5 weeks out.
    Thanks!
    Ben.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Sorry for the delay but I can now say the racks will fit the second gen!
Installed a cab rack today and test fit the bed rack.
The only thing I will have to do on the bed rack is shorten the back edge of the base rail down a bit.
The rack bolted up just fine but I will change the cut radius on the base rail for the 2nd gen for a cleaner look.
The rack will fit over a softtopper but not the best top.
Side doors should be ready soon along with several quick mount accessory options.

I have a couple cab racks coated and ready to go and bed racks will be ready in 2-3 weeks if anyone is interested let me know ASAP.
    Thanks!
    Ben
