Yes, it’s a little bit of a wait due to the new design. One of the owners, Melissa Rago, contacted me via email to make sure this was alright and that they hope it will be sooner. They also will be updating their site with additional photos of the new brackets. From the initial looks, it seem to be the lower profile I was looking for in a no cutting/hood mount. I’ll be sure to post photos when they arrive.

01B6D238-ADC1-4FC2-9E44-EE78B04249EB.jpg Just installed the new Rago hood brackets, no trim. Real happy with the low profile, just enough room to get the bolts in on the bottom. Spots cut to zip tie the wiring if needed.

Does anyone know of a mount for the 1st gens that doesn’t require trimming? Most of the info so far seems to be on 2nd and 3rd gens.

Got any more pics of your CB antenna/Ditch Light setup? It looks like your lights are aimed pretty much straight, could you aim them a little more outside, or does the antenna get in the way of that? I'm trying to decide between Rago/CaliRaised and the SOS that don't need an extension for the antenna.

If you are looking for quality switches try these guys. They are based out of CA and have great customer service especially when you call them. I think they also have a Tacoma world discount if you call.

I've got Rago Ditch Light Brackets, the old cowl mounted style. i really like them. i got them a few months before the new design came out. I've got amazon side shooters, which if you look at them, are pretty much exactly the same as the caliraised side shooters, for half the price. And they are bright as can be. Dont mind the salt on my truck, they've been salting like crazy around here.

Here’s a little info for a first gen since I just got mine hooked up. The Rago Fabrication mounts seem to be the only ones that don’t require drilling/trimming. I paired them with the @CaliRaisedLed side projecting pods. Took maybe a few hours to wire and mount everything. I can’t wait to test them out when it gets dark but it lights up my whole garage pretty well. 0EFBAB0A-73BE-4799-81DC-C928EF97174B.jpg F98946A5-83BB-4D09-9BB4-1CB21BF8F384.jpg 3B2558B3-5CEB-4235-A7CF-EA7C1DD6C64B.jpg

    Side shooters look good.

It depends what you're intentions are, but I'd say go with the flood or side shooters.

I could do that. I wasn't sure how much it would be used. Are you aware of any company's not listed in the OP that offer 1st gen brackets.

I think srq makes an option for the 1st gens that requires drilling on the pillars. It would probably also be helpful to make a note that the ragofab mounts are the only ones that don’t require any trimming on the first gen.

Will do. I'll start doing some research on the types of mounting systems.
