Any way you could help me locate a picture of how the SRQ bracket mounts to the A-Pillar? I'm looking through old forums and can't seem to find a picture of where the bolts go/attach to.

I don’t think anyone has a thread on them but I’ve talked to a member that has them. I don’t think he sent me any pics. I just saw the pics on their website

Got you. I haven't even seen one picture of how it mounts to the A-Pillar unfortunately.

You drill holes and use nuts or something. Similar to how you would mount the roof brackets for a light bar.

@CaliRaisedLed do you have a 1st gen bracket? I am updating the OP and would like to include you if so. Also if you could provide the link that would be great. Thanks.

    I just know of...
CBI and tacomaworld - bolt on but requires removing some extra panels (I think... it’s the style that doesn’t attach to the hood hinge) and requires cowl trimming
Rago Fabrication - bolt on to hood hinge with no trimming
SRQ - drill into the pillars with no other trimming and they also sit higher up I believe (maybe you can get some pics from @Kyle_sprouse)

OP updated to reflect available 1st gen options.

If anyone knows additional makers than the 3 listed in the 1st gen section please let me know and I will update to reflect the current options.

Awesome. Anyway you could do me a favor for the thread and take a picture of where you put the screws into the weatherstripping channel? I'll update the original post with your picture for the sea reference.

Like the looks of these. What type of lights are you using? Do you get much of a glare off the hood with the lights on?

You can pretty much run any brand of pod light in this location. My suggestion, if you're concerned with the light rubbing when your hood is up, stick with a 2x2 led pod setup. Also use a flood pattern for your ditch light or a sideshooter pod as those are becoming more popular. If you aim the ditch light in a forward position towards the road you will get some glare on the hood. Aimed in a true ditch light fashion, off to the sides of the vehicle, you will get little to no glare.
