Q: Any trimming to make em fit?
A: No trimming on the Relentless.

    Q: Any glare off hood?
A: I have not experienced glare of any kind.

Q: Can you give a quick review of your experience?
A: It was a quick and easy install. The hood aligns itself, so you just unbolt, put the brackets on and then re-bolt.

    Q: Like them overall?
A: The brackets work great. They don't shake or bounce and the light goes where I need it.

The primary differences between the CBI and Relentless brackets are...
1.) Relentless requires no cutting or trimming. CBI does.
2.) CBI has offset mount where the light attaches. Relentless doesn't.
3.) CBI has three mounting holes. Relentless has two.

I love my set. Never had a problem with them in the way or anything like that. I also removed the fog lights and did Pods down there to. plus the one in the lower grill.

How did you mount the pod? Did you just bolt it to the bumper? It looks really clean that way

Has anyone ever seen "ditch" lights high mounted instead of on the hood hinges? I've currently got my CB there on the driver side, but I'm working on getting it relocated to the rear corner on a tailgate bracket.

I'm thinking about putting some 4D spot pods on the sides at the front of my prinsu rack to light the area usually hit by ditch lights and I'm wondering if it's something I've never seen before because it's a bad idea ornjust because it complicates the wiring needlesly in most cases. I'm also putting some side facing flood work lights on the rack so there's wiring to be run up there either way.

You may need to get something custom fab'd to mount to the prisnu rack. I've never seen a bolt on solution and typically people would weld them in when making racks. Prisnu is so low that it would mount to the top half which wouldnt be that big of an issue. Would be pretty cool to see the pods mounted that way but may have the issue 50 inch curved light bars have with the glare.

My plan is to mount the brackets that came with the pods on the sides of the rack the same as you'd mount the pods to a hood bracket, there's plenty of extra holes and slots, and the brackets go on with a single bolt. I'm hoping to avoid the glare issue by using the spot beam pods on such a wide lateral spread since they'll end up outside the tops of the A-pillars (but should be inside the width of my sliders since the cab narrows at the top). Also I'm hoping that having a dark gray truck will mitigate the glare issue some. I'm still working up the nerve to drill holes in my roof to mount the rack (and waiting for a day that it's under 90 outside when I've got the time to do the work). I guess the real question will be whether I can get light close enough in while avoiding hood glare with the aiming. I do have a 28 inch bar mounted on top of the bumper, and some massively bright LED (HID replacement) bulbs in my factory fog lights which spread around fairly well to the sides but don't hit anything in particular with a ton of light.

Ah then if youve got extra mounting holes just get some extensions like me and carriage bolt the prisnu side and then mount the pods on the opposite. I wanna see pictures when its done! If you need brackets too just let me know :D!

If I need simple brackets, I'll just fab some up myself (I'm an aerospace structures engineer and have basic metal fab tools at home plus access to a much more sophisticated shop including 3D printers and pro-grade CAD software). Not looking to get into anything permanent that'll stick up past the rack height (truck is my daily driver in L.A. and needs to fit into some garages that'll be close with the lift and the rack combined) or very far out to the sides. The side-facing floods are going to be bad enough, but I'm sick of trying to set up camp sites by flashlight or have to get the headlights facing where the tent needs to go up.

I have 2x3 spots on my ditch brackets. There is quite a bit of spill on the hood. I found they're better used to add light on either side of the fender especially when making a turn. I have two 9 inch led spots on my arb bumper to light up the road in fort of me.

I've got some LED spots hanging off my mirrors. I call em game lights though. They work good for rocks and lighting up the sides of the truck but best thing they they do for me is light up the woods on the sides of me. I've seen a lot of animals I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Most recently a black bear that I wouldn't have even known was there without the lights.

Ya I made the hole where the fog was. SO if I ever put the fogs on u will not see it. But on the inside of the bumper bent some metal to made a holder if u want to call it take so it would be more stable. It was before but just for the just incase.

Csn someone clear it up for me. The Rago fabrication bracket is the exact same as the cbi bracket??? I purchased a set from cbi and it has the R on one of them, which is the logo for Rago. But they told me that it was to differentiate left from right. Doesn't make sense.
