Thanks for the suggestions brother. I’m planning on putting a bar across the middle i just ran out of blades to cut with. They will give me something to mount the light bar to and cut a hole in the steel plate for it to shine though.

Today’s progress so far. All the welds have been cleaned up.

For those wondering, i am using angle iron to weld the bars on up top that i drilled holes in to bolt the angle iron to the frame. I will later cut off the top of the iron so it doesn’t stick up above the bar. And at the bottom i will run a bar across that i will weld on to some brackets i pulled off of my bull bar that i had on it.

Cut the stock cross member off and do it right. You will get a way better approach angle and it will look a million times better. Trust me on this one, it’s totally worth the extra work and not hard to do

Got all the mounting attachments welded onto the bumper and everything fits on good. Painting now and close to being done. Once I mount it on and secure it as well as putting my front end back together i will post more photos.

This is what i have so far. I’ll cut a hole for my light bar later as well as mount my plate on. I will soon be welding sheet metal on top of the top bar to run flat towards the truck to fill in some gaps. And later i might add the bull bar.

Bumper is done other than a few finishing touches. I’m sure I’ll do more things to it later. But I got the bull bar up now, and I also built an A out of metal pipe to stand for my last name and welded it in between the bumper and bull bar.
