    So for any wiring gurus, I could use some help. I've done this mod for my home garage door opener. We now have an electric gate at work that uses a similar opener. Can I wire two openers from one switch without catching anything on fire? If so how? Or is there an easier way? Thank you.

    Edit: I did this and it seems to work. Should I keep the fire extinguisher handy?

    Easiest way would be a 3 way switch. Push up for work and down for home.

    I have had it like in my picture for weeks and it's worked perfect. A three way switch isn't a bad idea, but at least this way I can keep my inconspicuous black switch.
