I am getting a cap soon so i'd be in for ax, fire extinguisher & Hi-Lift. No need for locks or anything and I can assemble and pick up since I'll be heading to the Bremerton area in April to visit a coastie buddy.

    Thanks man!

I am in contact with RAM (for the locking knobs), End of The Road (for QuickFists), and Grizzly (for T-Slot nuts) to discuss qty. discounts and pricing and get an ETA on ship times for everything. Luckily RAM and Grizzly are just North of me, so it should be a quick turnaround from them.

I will be starting a new "FS Thread" soon with Pricing and Options, incl. "Upgrade Options" like locking hardware, finish etc., and I will PM those who have already shown interest to confirm everything.

Thanks for the feedback and interest guys!

You might also try Bullaculla for t-slot nuts. His are aluminum and customizable to any thread/bolt size. He's closer to you than he is to me and i got my nuts from him in 3 days

Is he still making them? Last I heard he was out/done. Plus @ $6/ea. they are too spendy when Grizzly has them for about $1.20/ea.

I would need to see the dimensions as well, they look to be taller than the Zoro or Grizzly ones.

I (personally) would rather have steel for these. Alum. has great properties and potential in off-road/armor applications but for threaded nuts that are bearing weight...no.

There's a reason they usually use threaded steel inserts in aluminum applications.

I'm wanting to do the same thing. I want to mount my HiLift to my bed bars(tube/bars). I'm thinking about using the metal hose clamp around the tube to secure the rubber mount. Just not sure how long the rubber will hold up. Still looking for some other ideas. Anyone else mount things on tubes/bars?

That's no good! The ones I got from Zoro haven't rusted, but I have a canopy so that will make a difference.

I recently bought some from them. They came with like a coating of oil or something on them so I just assumed that would protect it. I'll have to look and see if they have rusted already.

Cool deal Ben. TW and I will be here for moral support.

Rick, i got mine well over a year ago, had them mounted in the truck for 6 months or so, took them out and replaced the whole mount and nut assembly in august. Sounds like they figured out they needed to do something and thats why yours are coated :)

I'm interested in the tool mount and T-mount. Please PM me when you have a price list together. Thanks.
