Thanks Benson X for the easy write up. Made myself a couple of these last weekend. Couple more dips in the plastidip and I will be assembling them and will post pics soon I hope. I made the shovel/ axe mount and another similar to your extinguisher mount but without the extinguisher. Thanks again, much props.

Love this thread. Finally got mine installed. Took me forever. Had Eddy at SOS offroad concepts make me a one off set of brackets that I used to attach everything to. 2cc525c0ed377577b34a52d2d08564c5_fe2f9bd6c3dbd6967cc02cfc867e07c6ebcb86ea.jpg7598095b4a4cbf27b5cce4babd9a1c03_ea1dd1f47995556a60e3d854cd6d687058cc40ba.jpg6ef49e813daba4feb3e667bd10dd9f6f_af484f7794974b9faa8f8b2ba68e86e5b1949f69.jpga401c74ffd172a39615ad9fcf420a7aa_c54a6aff3ea98513b0a27fb78f13cddd05ef5eda.jpgcad60417b0d7f54a6973e5b966c2d4ff_6360a31feb23072c08be4ad2f1079b867ee133ef.jpg4b9a078777fffb20d3c5a002f9a59ef3_d00a9a86340c64585830c37ccb7fab09505f72fc.jpg

Great job @sachou !!!! the only thing that I would do is to mount it on the other side, just because the taco lean! Other than that, its a great idea and I will gladly copy it LOL...

I realized since the new forum switch, much of the formatting is screwed-up on my write-ups. I will be going through them (all) to fix them.

I just updated the OP, and will fix the T-Mount Instructions soon, along with my other write-ups that were affected.

I have a question on the hi-lift mount. In your parts list you mention rubber washers but not sure where they go?

Just made a set for axe and shovel as well has a horizontal extinguisher today. Thanks for the write up, went smoothly. Fit well even with my truck vault and cargo glide installed. Perfect space for them, now to do the hi-lift mount.

Thanks man!! The Truck Vault was a game changer in the organization department. The cargo glide is gonna get sold in order to get more room with the FlipPac. Really liking how the tool mounts fit between the glide setup, and that the blade of the axe can be safely stored in the crack of the truck vault.

    Great Writeup!!!

@Benson X is the lockable knob you used in the video the same as this one you linked a few pages back? http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-KNOB6LSU

Have you found them anywhere else for a cheaper price?

Finally for the t-slot nuts.....after looking at this one someone posted saying was the exact one needed: https://www.fastenal.com/products?term=302932&searchMode=productSearch

Will this one work for the one from zoro? http://www.zoro.com/te-co-t-nut-black-oxide-38-16-916-41406/i/G1777921/

For half the price I'd rather go with zoro.

    Hey Taylor,

That is the same lock knob I use. I ended up ordering them from GPSCity.com for less than it costs directly from RAM.

Also, the T-Slot nuts from Zoro are the same ones I use (G1777921)

Finally finished my mounts last night (took a few days to get around to getting the red enamel paint) and I think it looks great!
