The instruction sheet was labeled for a 120 Series Prado and Hilux 4WD.

I had a extra set of washers and sleeves which I assumed might be for either the Prado or Hilux. There are 6 sleeves pictured in my first pic, and 2 of them aren't used. I think I have 4 extra washers.

I've put about 1000 miles on my rebuilt front end and the lower bushings look good still.

The set I tried were the same, 6 sleeves & extra washers as well. I tried every way possible without trashing them.

 

I'm with you. Got frusterated with Moog...and ordered RAYBESTOS greasable for 2x the cost. Should be here next week. I'll post back to confirm they fit correctly at some point

 

I noticed that while searching around last night, mostly to see if the problems had been corrected. From the pics I saw, the part numbers on the cams were the same, so I'm wondering how they justify the price (double the Moog kit). I'm wondering if they include all the hardware for both lower control arms in one kit, hence why Raybestos call it professional grade, vs. Moog having just one LCA hardware in a kit (so you need to buy two to do a vehicle).

I'm in the gathering parts phase right now, so if the Raybestos work out for you, I'll be following your lead. Let us know how they are.

EDIT- I just looked up the parent companies to both manufacturers. Moog is owned by Federal-Mogul and Raybestos is owned by Affinia Group. Hoping since they are competitors this a completely different kit with proper hardware. The bonus would be if it was made in USA. Not alot of love for Moog in my brief search for parent companies either.

I get what you are saying, however the pics of the Raybestos kit look remarkably like the Moog, down to the numbers stamped on the cam bolts.

Raybestos 611-5018 Pro Alignment Bushing Do NOT work either. In fact they are identical to the moogs in EVERY way! The only difference is the label on the box.
Don't wate the $$$. The ones I ordered are going back.

So at this point is it just the OEM's that work? I may replace mine in a month or so when I have the LCA's off to do the cam tab gussets.

So the only part of this kit that works is the bolt and nut that attach to the front (the part closest to the front of the truck)? The rear bolt and nut do not fit? So you have to use the OEM parts for the rear LCA attachment point?

Moog tech line just called me back! They have confirmed what we all know already, rear bolts to large. Their supplier is redesigning the kit. They said it is only an issue for 4x4's...can anyone with a non 4x4 confirm your bushings are different? Tech stated the are updating the catalog to state"for front only on 4x4" until the redesign is released.

I was surprised they actually returned the call at all.

 

Probably like 4 years...
