Don't rush him, it can't be easy being the Guinea pig (for 3 sets of bushings now?)

I bought a oem l lca and alignments cam set for the right side of my truck. The parts came from a 2014 with 20k km, that's 12.5k. miles. The cam bolts were rusted into the bushing but came free. This is an indicator that all tacomas will have this issue.

I had a front axel replaced under warranty (ripped boot, abuse from my part) and dealership was only able to free the LCA on one side when they tried to align it. They are replacing the other LCA under warranty. Reading some of these posts, I'm surprised I had one side which wasn't seized. It's been nearly 3 years including 2 winters on salt laden Quebec roads. I'll definitely grease the $hit out of those bolts every autumn as preventive maintenance!

I will shoot for this weekend. I did an oil change on the truck this past weekend -- pulled the bolts which were still anti-seized and successfully moved each cam. So this shouldn't be a bastard job like the first time.

I've had the energy LCA bushings for about a year, since fixing my frozen cam bolts. They are paired with Moog bolts/washers to keep things from seazing again.

All was good for 10 months, now I have the click/pop from the front passenger side again. I did have a totally shot upper ball joint on that side (fixed with Camburg UCAs), so I'm not completely ready to blame the energy/moog set up yet.

I recently replaced my LCA's with refurbished arms and Moog ball joints and LCA bushings. I'm getting the same pop/clunk as before too so I'm guessing LCA bushings. LR UCA's were installed to replace the factory stuff but it didn't really help. I'll probably switch the Moog lca bushings out for OEM next spring unless it gets a lot worse.

Probably the forward bushings. They don't fit for shit.
