So i live in an apartment complex and working on cars/trucks isn't allowed... but i like doing my maintenance (oil changes, etc.) myself. Are there any DIY shops in the San Diego area that anyone knows of where i can go work on my truck myself? i thought i heard a commercial on the radio a few weeks ago but can't find anything online. Am i looking for something that doesn't exist or does anyone know about this?

There aren't any hobby shops on base down there? There are two up here in Pendleton. I am sure Miramar has one too.
