Yeah.. bump. Is there a way to add the low fluid sensor to the 95-00 resi? I'm guessing drill a hole in the bottom and RTV that sucker in place?

    Sounds about right.
The OEM pump just pulled out and was able to swap with the pump on the Amazon unit mentioned earlier in this thread.
I remember trying to pull the sensor out and thinking; where’s my dremel. But decided against that extent of a mod because... well, I got rushed and lazy.
But I remember thinking, a hole, some epoxy and/or RTV should work great.
I don’t recall the location on the OEM unit but just make it similar and boom, done.

I have an OEM non-cold spec windshield washer reservoir for sale if anyone wants to do this mod. Comes with the pump, wiring pigtail, and the rubber line for the spray nozzles.

Did the relocation today on my 01 non abs non cruise control with the linked Amazon reservoir.

    Looks good and works well!
I just used two of the bolts that hold the OEM reservoir plastic to the wheel well. Used a hole saw to drill a 1-3/8" hole for the low fluid sensor. Didnt use any sealant and have zero leaks. Used the toyota pump and low level sensor.

    Thanks for the idea!

My Kia Sportage wiper reservoir was still working fine but I was getting a little tired of how rednecky it looked, plus I just got a raise, so I spent a frivolous $29.00 on the OEM-style reservoir. I did have to bend part of the ABS modulator bracket out of the way, but I don't care because next time I'm in the mood for a big project, the rest of the ABS components are getting amputated.

Sorry if this has been asked, but what size bolts are you guys using to mount these to the existing holes? Or are there bolts already there? (I'm going to assume no)

Two of the original bolts from the original reservoir work on the fender.

The holes in the fender are threaded for M6X1.00 bolts.

Just ordered the reservoir myself. My "5 minute mod" of taking the lower valance off my bumper turned into about 16 different projects, including finally relocating the washer reservoir. Parts should be here next week, will post pics.

    Thanks for the great info!

So I’ve got no ABS but have cruise control on my 2.7. I’d like to do this eBay reservoir mod so I can get enough tire clearance. Has anyone fit these with the cruise still functioning?

So my 2.7 with cruise looks similar to what @Jaysjammin has. Wondering if it would still work on mine?

Not a lot... I used a 96-2000 tacoma reservoir, and if you want to use the stock bolt locations, just like DJB1 did, you have to bend the ABS bracket. I re-drilled a hole and used a riv-nut for it, rather than trying to re-bend the ABS bracket out of the way but still mount to the same hole.

If using the "stock" 96-2000 reservoir, it should be easy. Just remove the fender bolt for the ABS bracket, and use a BFH to beat the thing towards the rear until the reservoir fits. Then just drill a new hole and install a riv-nut.

I bought this a while ago and I've used it for several projects already. It's been a life saver!

    https://www.amazon.com/Muzata-Rivet...qid=1538585035&sr=8-8&keywords=rivet+nut+tool

I also got a set of stainless riv-nuts - didn't think the alulminum ones that come in the kit would hold up very well. Even the M8 size is doable with the above tool.

It might be able to fit without bending the bracket, but then you'd have to drill new mount holes. I chose a method where I only had 1 hole to drill instead of 2, lol...
