I've had enough squeaking from my dakar medium pack, it just constantly sounds like im having sex on an old mattress. I have a RSI Smartcap and other goodies that's going to be adding more weight in the back. So I was looking at upgrading to the Deaver Exp Series stage 2, i've read some people did the swap from dakar and deaver and didn't have any issues since. are there more people here on TW that can confirm this?

I've tried spraying the hell out of them to get any dirt out, covered the bushings in liquid grease to try and lube it which is the only thing that changes the sound to just being not as loud. Is there anything else to try?

If you want them quiet you need chassis grease between the leaf packs

This means off with u bolts, loosen center pin, separate leaves and apply everywhere

    Spraying doesn’t do the job

I contacted ome about this, they sent me all new wear pads & liners free, I put the new wear pads in with grease & haven't had a squeak since, probably 15,000 miles now without touching them again

I have u 402 stage 1 with around 500 miles on them bushings already squeaking bad
Used super lube silicone grease on the bushings, that’s what all pro, first king and total chaos recommend for poly bushings
I noticed that the bushings did not have to be pressed in on one side they were kind of loose
I can still feel the grease but they’re squeaking
I will try to buy the greaseable shackle bolts but if that doesn’t help I’m replace bushings with rubber ones
Deaver could have done a better job on these they did not even file all the ends of the leafs where they cut the diamond tips
    A lot of burrs left
    Poor workmanship
    They do ride good though
