Do I need a 4x4 to join overland?

    It's all about where you go and how well you can drive. Tougher trails, probably not. Certain routes that don't have aggressive sections where 4x4/lockers may be needed, you'll be good with what you've got.

    I would say, no. You can overland 2wd trucks.

    I will! I go fishing and am getting into hunting, and Ive gotten myself stuck in knee deep mud and got myself out with a shovel and locking my diff. I need to get better at driving in those situations.
