I just ordered 4 Bilstein shocks for my 97 Reg cab 4X4 and am planning on setting the fronts to 2.5" lift. Do i need a diff drop for this application, i will also be doing the rear leafs at the same time so it sits level???

    Canada Eh!
Well no one ever NEEDS a dif drop kit. I would highly suggest it tho. With your truck being a 97 the cv boots probably arent that pliable anymore. The drop kit will only help. It is cheap insurance. Altho, not guaranteed insurance. My 96's boots have split even with the dif drop.
