Do I need to drop my diff?

I am looking at putting the 5100's on my truck instead of one of the junk spacer kits. Here is the thing though. I noticed that with the leveling kits with the crappy spacers, they give you spacers to drop your diff. so that your cv's are not in such a bind. Would I also have to drop my diff. if I were to install the 5100's and set them at 1.75 or 2.0 ? Won't my cv's also be in a bind with the 5100's set that high?

 

On the 2nd gens, all the diff drop kits do is actually rotate your front diff....and it only changes the angles by less than 2 degrees.
