If butt size plays a factor…she has a rather large one. So probably more accurate!

Uhhh holding the accelerator pedal to the floor should always redline 1st and 2nd. Your aftermarket intake did not change anything relating to that operation.

Don’t care, I’m having fun and learning a shit load. I’m not attempting to prove anything but understand why what I have experienced it different than what people say is possible.

What you are sharing doesn’t seem to be quantifiable or repeatable by anyone else to verify your results, so this thread is going to be a lot of arguing, opinions, trolling and armchair science
I’m glad you have a sense of humor though! Crucial around here

I enjoyed your videos and posts. Folks doing mods to their vehicles and having fun with them has been going on since the horseless carriage was invented. Don't let anyone ruin your enthusiasm!

Just FYI, all cars for the most part, come from the factory with CAIs.

    Just stating is all.

You can delete the resonator or w.e it's called, which will change the way the truck sounds. Makes it really feel faster. IMHO that's what people "feel" when installing an aftermarket "CAI" kit, is just the deletion of the resonator.

A good way to do this is just replace the intake tube with a silicon hose, and run the TRD intake accelerator part thing, and presto you have the whole kit.

Don't use an oiled filter IMHO....

There’s just some mods we do because they actually look better. I’m gonna be getting new tail lights from extreme terrain. Nothing wrong with my tail lights, but I like the look of these ones.IMG_0770.png

I was with 100% until you mentioned the cold air intake. I got the OTT tune same results as you. Not on this truck but the cold air intake on my CR-Z back in the day . . . . not so much. Maybe because it was a hybrid 4 and not a NA V6 but honestly other than looking/sounding cool (no pun intended) it really did not seem to do anything.

Yeah I guess it was shocking to me how much Tacoma guys are against cold air intakes. Before getting mine, I did a ton of research and all the reviews, YouTube videos were raving. But honestly, I love mine and in no way regret the purchase. But I have to take your guys experience and expertise into account. You KnowThese trucks. I just got mine 5 months ago. And before that only drove cars. Thank you all for participating in this thread.

    Gotta like what you drive!!!
Keep going and post some pics.
My first taco was a 08 and I modded the shit out of it. Then it got totaled other drivers fault. Second one I lifted and tires.
This one is as purchased already has some mods.
    Haven’t done chit to it.
I enjoy it so it’s all good :fistbump:

I'm going to go with yes (under optimal conditions), only if they post the dyno sheet. No dyno sheet, move along.
