My father was kind enough to give me his 2003 Tacoma Access Cab V6 PreRunner when my parents moved to a smaller house. When he gave it to me in 2015, it had 128,000 miles on it.

My wife and I have been splitting time between our MDX and Odyssey, and as such the Tacoma gets a fair amount of use on my off day in the MDX. Recently I thought to myself, I have 3 kids, why not upgrade to a double cab Tacoma or Crew Max Tundra? Good grief, I can hardly find a 2007 Tundra for less than $15,000 with 180,000 miles. Many seem to go for $18,000 or more.

I've seen 10-12 year old Tacomas for $18,000 - $20,000+. I found two with 240,000+ miles for $15,000. Is this really the going rate for private party sales?

I’d keep the good rig you have! Sounds like you got a nice one, and these trucks aren’t cheap as you can see!

Yeah, I think I am going to keep it for another year or so. Next year, both of my daughters will be in school and it will be nice to have my Taco be able to haul them to school on days I don't have the MDX.

But up until that point, I think I'll be content with the 03.

    Answer -Yes

Wanna really make your head spin? Hagerty Values my 1978 Toyota FJ40 at over 35k, that’s more than triple what it cost new... and more than a new Tacoma...

Or check out the prices on a 90’s Supra??? HOLY SHIT!!!!!

Just took this screen shot... maybe you’d better tuck that Old TOYOTA away it may supliment your social security payments someday at this rate...

It also depends on locale. Washington/california prices are pretty ridiculous. Other areas seem they aren’t as bad
