    Ive seen about 3 modded tacos in san diego. Honestly. Most people around my area are all stock old dudes that dont really care about other tacomas. Ive talked to 2 out of the 3 dudes I saw driving modded tacos. One bought his truck lifted with black rims and bigger tires from the dealership so he didnt know what he had. The other dude was cool as shit. Id probably be pretty stoked to see someone wave haha!

I get more waves and nods from jeep guys since my truck is usually covered in mud, so it must be more of an "off roader to another off roader" thing here.

    Really need to get a TW sticker!!

    Yeah - the VW guy who waves at you is just saying "yo, there's something wrong with your car!!!" I know this because I owned a couple in my day (oh the fun of that 85 GTI) and guys would wave and flash headlights at me all the time. And every time, something was usually broken! :eek:

    That is what made driving a VW exciting. You never know what was gonna fall off next. I had a 92 corrado and while it was fun as hell to drive I was working on it every weekend

    Where I live, there are only a handful of tacomas, and out of those maybe only two are modded like mine. Anyway from them I've noticed I get a thumbs up every time I drive past. I give the two finger wheel wave back.

    i like to wave but most of the taco's around my area i feel get treated as just a car.. and not a TACOMA amazingestcoolestpartofthefamilytruck!

    Wave... if they are modded and the truck looks amazing! Even then i feel wierd becuase iam stock.. Feels like I am not on thier level YET..

    Maybe wave... if they are somewhat modded or atleast have a good set of sliders or rims or simple modds..

    no wave... to completly stock tacos with people who look like they just drive as though its a normal car and dont hold to much importance to it.
