Do you wave to other Tacoma owners?

I used to drive a VW Touareg which hardly anyone drives so whenever I saw one I would wave and usually get a return. Since driving a Tacoma, I have tried the wave quite a few time and have never gotten anything in return. Anyone out there initiate or look for the wave of taco comroderity?

Waving is more of a Jeep thing; any Jeep guy will tell you that it's blasphemy if you don't return a wave to another Jeeper. Haven't heard of Taco drivers practicing 'the wave' but why not? I'll do tomorrow and report back.

I have never seen one around here besides mine.

 

I'm going to start 'hard' waving and try to force other taco drivers into reciprocating. An epidemic will be created.

We have so many Tacomas here in Arizona... It would be a pain to wave at them all. I wish more had TW stickers though. Haha.

Waiving is almost mandatory in the Subaru (WRX/STI) world.

 

X2 I've got a bike and I find myself almost waving to other Taco drivers.

 

Yeah it was the same in the VW world, but usually only with the modified crowd.

Nah... I always get weird looks. Maybe because I don't wave, I just nod.

 

i wave and only get a wave from a tacoma with mods. Stock tacos seem to not care.
