I'm with you guys. My 8 mile Philly commute routinely takes 45min. Feel so bad for the truck. Bought my 2015 November of 16 with 15k miles. Now it has 43k.

Haha that's awesome, me too... wondering how many miles I can put on this thing before I run into a necessary maintenance/repair that costs more than the truck is worth.

My 10 has just under 150K miles. Highest mileage vehicle I've had and BY FAR the most reliable vehicle I've had..

My scion TC has 130k miles and outside of normal maintenance the only thing that has failed is 1 battery. Got to love Toyotas.

I’ve owed a couple Scion tCs and I’ve loved them. Best one I had was bought on Craigslist for 1000 bucks win a 5 speed and 200k miles. It functioned everyday with the same boring reliability of a bicycle or a calculator.

My '08 has 190k. Biggest thing I've had to do for maintenance is a $40 wheel bearing.

I don't understand the argument of not spending money on a vehicle that isn't worth much. I have a friend who got 700k out of his little gmc that's the size of a Tacoma. Engine finally went so he put a new one in and put 200k on that so far.

Agreed in the sense that I wouldn't worry about the value of a vehicle when considering repairs. What I would consider is, am I paying more on average monthly in repairs than I would for a new car payment.

I thought all Toyotas rusted away long before you wore them out.

CA, gotta love it. At least to visit. I will be making a 3200 mile round trip to San Diego next month, then a 5500 mile round trip to Canada in May. The miles just keep adding up, but that's why I bought it I guess.

My 05 just had the frame replaced at 186000 and no worries its a Toyota. I truly don't mind putting the miles on it. I had a 99 Tacoma that I sold at 250000 that I kicked myself for selling. It was still an great truck.

I got a 15 with almost 75k miles, hell yes I drive the shit out of my truck, Long road trips are best_ 95 percent all highway miles. Made the Alaska to Wisconsin trip and now wanting to do a Wisconsin to California trip and back. I'm keeping mine until it dies, I keep up on maintenance a lot.

El Paso, That's just down the highway from me about 60 miles lol. My 2005 has 189435 miles and its still running strong. I drive it everyday from down here in the desert up to Cloudcroft at 9000 feet and it doesn't have any issues.

I've got 154k on my 2010. Driving it on long trips is good for it.
