I just recently joined Tacomaworld! I’ve been on here a lot so I figured I should join already.
I’m planning to lift my truck soon and I’m looking for 3” of lift. As of now I’m considering between the Eibach pro lift kit and dobinson suspension kit.
I plan on using SPC UCAs. Also is there any other parts I need such a diff drop kit?

If anyone would like to give their opinion or share their experiences with these set-ups it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running the Dobinsons IMS adjustable front struts(2"-3") with springs along with the rear HD leafs with JBA UCA's. I set mine right at 2".

I didn't do a diff drop, but I did get the ECGS bushing along with a carrier bearing drop.

@Crikeymike was a great help answering my many questions while I tried to decide on a lift. He never bad mouthed the other companies I asked about, just gave me the numbers comparing Dobinsons to the others. His customer service is second to none. He earned a repeat customer out of me.

Stock with full @SOS CONCEPTS skids, sliders, camper, and decked system. 255/70/17

Sweet looking truck you got there. I’m leaning towards the Dobinsons more.

Are there better setups? Of course. I just wouldn't use Fox/King/ADS enough to justify the cost. Are there cheaper setups? Of course. I also didn't want to have to redo the susp, so I bought what suited my intended uses. I have absolutely no complaints with my setup.

I'm not sure what parts Eibach offers to make a complete kit in the rear, but I don't think they're doing full leaf packs in the rear like Dobinsons offers. I think they're doing front coilovers and rear shocks. Dobinsons has 3 different rear leaf packs to suit desired lift height with added load, and we also have 2 different block options for the rear (called Quick Ride Kits) if you want to keep your stock leaf springs and just bump it up a little bit. Plenty of options, and you can build a kit to suit your exact needs. Here's the page with all the options:

I had the Eibach Pro Truck lift on my 4Runner and loved it. No diff drop with that setup and I had the JBA UCAs. Nice enhancement for off road, and still very good on road manners.

Very happy with my Dobinson's. Using IMS struts, 2"front springs, and their 'medium' rear springs.

I've posted more detailed info in prior threads, but in a nutshell, it rides like a truck now (not a marshmallow), feels planted over rough roads, and handles weight when I'm towing really well.

Dobinson 100%. Unless you want to go a super high end performance like some Kings or Foxx, go the Dobinsons route. Send this man here @Crikeymike a DM

I forgot to add, for sure get the teal ones, dont go for red or black parts.

That’s the look I’m aiming for. I’m looking for a more aggressive stance and look with good ride quality. What are your specs? What coilovers and shocks are you running ?

Yes. You read my mind lol.

With the dobinson, I was planning on getting the suspension kit with the quick ride rear with the 2” lift blocks. I also plan on upgrading to the leaf spring later down the road. Will the C59-352 springs with the GS59-220 give me the 3 inch lift I want ? I also plan on getting a front bumper in the future also.
I have a lot of questions if you rather me dm you I could.

I see a lot of the guys on here are recommending you so you must the boss around here lol

I can tell you from experience that Mike was more than helpful. I was concerned with which front spring to go with as I eventually want an ARB front bumper with winch. He gave me the options and his suggestions. I went with the 600lb front spring(I believe) just so that I wouldn't have a harsh ride up front. It'll probably be a year or so before I pull the trigger on an ARB bumper and figured for the $190 price tag, it was worth getting the lighter spring for now.

I have plans to go check out a LC80 and if I do come home with it, I'll dang sure get with Mike again

Don't waste money on the lift blocks. Even though they're cheap, you're just throwing money away. Just do it correct from the start and get the replacement springs and shocks.
