Sounds like you're on the right track, that's enough weight IMO and I don't think you'll run into stiffness issues if I had to guess.

Measurements, all taken center hub to fender....
    Pre vs Post (+ Gain)
    FD 20.5" 22.75" 2.25"
    FP 20.5" 23.0 " 2.50"
    RP 21.0" 22.5 1.5"
    RD 21.0" 22.0 1.0"

I have a somewhat uneven load in the back of the truck right now on the drivers side, and a full tank of gas which I am comfortable to attribute to the 1/4" less up front and 1/2" less in the back.

Crazy that you got that much settling... self install or a shop? Did you do strut assembly yourself?

I just bought the L59-111-R with the bushings, but not the pins. But reading your post has me reconsidering getting them and buying an OE shackle and just going all new. Are you doing the same?

When I bite the bullet and add a blank shackle I'll upgrade to the Dobinsons pins.

Again the advertising and photos lacked the detail in the bushing kit to show/tell you that the bushing sleeve has been tapped in conjunction with the greaseable bolts (not that I doubted Dobinsons experience and knowledge for nearly 70yrs of experience).

I kept the stock shackle to hanger rubber bushing, and am running the Dobinsions bushings in the leaf eyes. I am happy with the L59-111-R and can't wait to get out camping to better test the heavier load rating!

You’ll love the load carrying with the 111 springs!

Yeah, they made that change a couple of years ago across the range, but it was a progressive change to get all the sleeves drilled, and to be honest I had forgotten they did it. It allows more grease to get in between the OD of the sleeve and ID of the bushing. I've been intending to make a separate video on the bushings to show the detail up close, but haven't been able to get to the warehouse to do it.

Yeah thats why I didn't order them. I think Im just going to get it all now, that way Im (hopefully) doing this all once lol.

I get mine this week and can't wait to test them out either, I have a few trips coming up that will be perfect for testing. I'm also running these with a shock relocation, stoked to have almost 6 more inches of rear wheel travel.

I can't wait to see how they do, I have about 500lbs of constant weight in the bed, should be perfect.

I put 300lbs of sand bags in the bed of my truck after I installed the suspension and rode some fire service roads. It squat maybe 1/2” with the weight in the back. Rode like a champ with that 300lbs in the back too!

Dobinson's MRR coils, Deaver Stage 3 leafs, 295/70/17 Yokohama Geolander MT, ATHFab front & rear bumpers, DRT CMR, WarFab sliders, Archive Garage U-Bolt flip kit, SPC UCA (soon to be swapped)
I harassed Mike at exit offroad this weekend and ordered my MRR kit. I ordered c59-354 coils, mra59-a220 front struts, L59-111-r leafs and mra59-a940 rear shocks. I have a bamf rear bumper, WarFab sliders, rails with rtt and have a front bumper/winch in the way. Mike said I’d be at about 3” which is fine as I’ll be going to 35’s within the next month or so. I’m already looking out the window for the ups guy. Mike answered every question even at 9pm on a Friday via email. Best customer service I’ve ever dealt with

What are the differences in the Dobinson and OME coils? Everyone who have been running the Dobinson coils how are the coils settling and are they sagging like the OME?

I have a small amount of sagging with my Dobinsons but I have a front bumper. I had quite a bit of sagging with the OME 886s with stock front.

Is that with dobinsons highest spring rate the 352’s? Ome 886’s are still only 660 lb coils, I’m talking in regards to the 500 lb coils that dobinsons and ome offer. I’ve read many of the 590 lb ome coils will sag and lose an inch or more over time, wondering will these dobinsons which also are 500 lb coils sag as much over time as well?

Yes the 352s and the 220 struts. I’m sitting around 1.75-2” of lift with about 135 on the nose. With a 3rd gen I would recommend the HD springs. The lighter springs are better suited for 2nd gens. A fair amount more nose weight on the 3rd gen than the 2nd gen

Oh I see. I think Procomp offers a 14” 700 lb spring but seeing the 352’s at 700 lb sagged on yours, I question if the procomps will and will there be any sacrifice in ride quality with a 700 lb spring although the stocks were tested to be 700 coils.

C59-354 are 700lb dobinsons springs. Mine will be in next weekend
