Want to confirm that this is a good combo for the front end for my intentions. Let me know if I’m crazy.

looking for a 2” lift up front with the ability to bump up to 3” if I feel spunky later on. I gather that depending on where you set the coil seats determines any extra lift paired with certain coils and dobinsons recommends two different settings on the IMS, either a stock height or a +1

    C59-314
    - 50mm (2.0") lift, Medium load front end (up to50lbs), 405mm free height, 17mm wire, 586#

    IMS59-50220 - IMS Front Monotube struts - for 0-3.5" lift, 430mm comp, 558mm ext

plus the top hats and assembly of course

Yeah dude, that's totally fine. The IMS are fully adjustable, not just a 1" increment or anything, so you can set it however you want. You just don't want to set it lower than the stock coil seat height as the sway bar can make contact with it otherwise.

The 314's are great for 2", and with the IMS, you can adjust up and get more height if you want.

If you decide to order on my site and want the fronts assembled too, just add these to the cart:
    https://exitoffroad.com/product/dob...es-tacoma-2005-20-4runner-2003-20-fj-cruiser/
    https://exitoffroad.com/product/strut-assembly-labor/

And then during checkout, let me know if you want it raised more than the standard lift height.

Not sure you ordered it on my website then, as it tells you when you place an order which parts are on backorder. My site is www.exitoffroad.com

Yep, I ordered from exitoffroad. I was just saying, most websites I order from these days don't say anything when their product is out of stock. Then I go and place and order and get an email a day or 2 later saying it's going to be awhile. Nice to hear your website has that part covered!

Very pleased with the way it all turned out! 3/2 w/UCAs on 285s rides like a cadillac!

Its kind of refreshing to see a nice looking truck with the stock wheels still on it. I love the look of them and will be sticking with 'em myself. Going for a very similar stance to yours.

I have been riding around on my Dobinsons IMS for about a month now. This is for GX 460.

Not sure how I feel about this.

I wanted a stiffer ride. It's not as stiff as I would have liked. I wanted more stability on washboards and off road conditions. So far, it feels worse off-road than the stock suspension on a 100K+ miles vehicle.

I am not sure that I would go with them again.

6112 is probably the best option for value.

All depends on what coils you're running with them.

6112's are softer than the IMS fronts, FYI

Thanks for sharing. I like a soft ride, so I'm looking forward to mine coming in.

Anybody pair the 111-R leaf pack with Bilstein 5160s?

Currently running bilstein 6112/5160s with an icon 3 leaf aal in the back. I haven’t been very happy with the load carrying capacity of my rear leafs, with just that aal. I have a Leer shell and a bed platform, probably about 250-300 lbs constant weight, but I load it up for camping trips on weekends. Thinking of upgrading to the 111-R pack with my current billy 5160 shocks.

Anyone know where I went wrong? I installed my Dobinsons setup this weekend and the ride quality is really bad. It's crazy stiff. Like really really stiff and I can't stand to drive it. Do I need to switch to my front coil springs and the leaf pack? Or is the the shocks as well? My truck is pretty heavy so I went with heavy rated stuff.

I've got the c59-350 springs up front on some GS59-220, with a pair of GS59-940 in the rear, with the all pro expedition leaf pack. What do I need to change to get this to ride a lot softer? I really like the current stance of the truck and don't want to change the lift height. Just want it softer.
