Before purchase, I thought those low tech looking clocks are super corny.
In my 2015, there is no clock but only a TACOMA logo. The clock gets displayed on the nav screen, but when ever I change volume, or do anything with the screen, the clock disappears for a bit to show other information such as the volume bar etc. I find this annoying. Is this part of Toyota's cost saving strategy? I never thought I would miss those low tech clocks lol

I like the clock display. To me it was a toyota thing. I think all the toyotas i have ever owned had a separate clock display. I dont understand why they took it off.

I am bummed out I don't have the clock. Don't care about the temp gauge but I would have really liked to have that clock. Is there any way to add it by replacing that panel below the radio?

When I was looking at the 2015s I didn't even notice they did away with it, looks like I will be figuring out how to add a clock now along with an outside temp gauge.

I think there is a way to retrofit 2014's hazard light, clock, and seat belt light module.
Don't quote me on this though.

There is a way, but in the 2015's, they eliminated the clock wires.

    This thread might help.

I miss the clock as well. I just ordered this part TERMINAL, REPAIR W/ WIRE - 82998-12690. This will enable you to add the clock in 2015 Tacoma's. I have an appt. next week to get a clock installed in my 2015 Tacoma. I will let you guys know how things turn out.

Having the backup camera in the display screen is nice in the 2014, I can do without the temp, it's hot out that's all I know.
