So i went and inspected the truck i am wanting to purchase, and noticed it had a gap between the black plastic bumper ( it's an SR5) and the painted front bumper. It seems to be flush everywhere else. I noticed a few other ones on the lot had the same thing. But this morning i saw a co-workers truck and its perfectly flushed all the way around. What gives? how easy is this to fix? I hate to be buying a new truck and have to turn right back around and get shit fixed right off the bat, that's irritating.

:worthless: of the truck you went to look at and a sample truck you think is "right".

I believe mine has a little bit of space, though it was from some jerk off that backed into my front bumper like 4 months ago. Guess it’s normal. That should be the least of your worries lol, jk.

Same issue here, I just figured it was normal Tacoma stuff. (Like the rear bumper/bed misalignment from factory)

Just saying, stop making a big deal out of something so trivial.. you own a truck, not a 911

Mine has it, 2017 less than a thousand miles. Seems to be a common occurrence.

When you pay that kind of money you have expectations, apparently yours aren't that high

if the gap is a dealer breaker in buying the truck, don't buy it then, pretty simple:notsure:

    It's a pickup truck, not a Bentley.

Anyways, if it was really troubling, some hand tools might be all it takes to adjust it.
